Setting aside the possibility that Trump was “allowed in” at the eleventh hour once Killary was found to be a liability and hot on the heels of DNC vote rigging, [1]  there can be no doubt that he had a substantial platform of ordinary support. [2 ]Regardless of the complexities of the path Trump must now follow, in order to understand why so many voted for the man we have to a) understand the international and domestic background to his popularity b) whether or not he is going to be a significant impediment to the shadow government.

The intense dissatisfaction with government in both the United States and Europe was sourced from a decades long bubbling resentment against the Powers that Be and their corrupt, criminal enterprise we call the White House, Congress, its federal agencies and the European Union’s endless unelected bodies of Eurocratic corruption. Both perpetuate a neo-liberal economic monster the likes of which culminated in the sub prime housing crisis in the states encouraging a form of financial warfare between banks and corporations all due to a huge popping of a financial bubble the shock waves of which had serious repercussions in Europe. Hello austerity measures. Thanks very much said the banking cartels. It was to result in the further consolidation and centralisation of this economic model and a return to business as usual on a higher and more risky turn of socio-economic resource extraction (people being the ultimate resource).

This led to a massive financial bonanza for the rich whilst the poor and middle classes shouldered the cost producing a sharp rise in mental illness, poverty and hardship. Americans, who were already reeling from the Bush-Cheney era, unnecessary foreign wars and the commensurate rise of the police state bore the brunt of this cynical exercise in propping up a dying banking system. Most importantly, such obvious criminality gave rise to complete disillusionment, anger and fury against the Establishment and politics.  A large proportion of the American public saw through the veil and responded to Trump as a relative outsider who appeared to speak their language, appealed to traditional right wing America as well as Libertarians and those in between.

In one sense, the reasons why Trump found himself as president is not the point. Trumphobia is a side show and a distraction. What the new president elect is up against – indeed everyone who truly has a conscience set afire by our brother and sister’s suffering – are the engines or drivers of psychopathic infection which create our present Official Culture, its pathological enculturation and adjustment to a false normality. Moreover, these drivers encourage us to fuel our institutions, governments, military, and socio-economic infrastructures largely by default and with an alien perception of the psychopath and narcissist, spreading like a psycho-virus from the trusted but entirely broken model of statism – a belief in the state as both provider/enforcer and from which all our ills are created.

Trump Hysteria, Left Hypocrisy and the Four Drivers of the Deep-State / Overworld Part II

“That’s why we’ve witnessed such fury from her supporters – they had wrapped themselves so tightly in the Hillary flag that a rejection of her felt like a rejection of them. And when you consider that many American colleges gave their students Wednesday off  class because they were too ‘upset’ to study, you can see that this wasn’t a battle for the White House – this became a genuine battle for America’s future direction. And, indeed, for the West.”

‘Two Fingers to a Politically Correct Elite’ by Ian O’Doherty

Image is everything in America right?

Bill Clinton’s jazz-cool sax playing and predatory behaviour towards women; Barack Obama’s winning smile and languid nonchalance care of a marketing ploy of the first Black American fused with mythic qualities of JFK and Martin Luther King…. Who wouldn’t want such a man proclaiming “Hope and Change” after the Organ Grinder and Monkey of the Bush-Cheney years?

Well, that fell as flat as a week old soda. But not before havoc and mayhem was caused on behalf of Deep State movers.

cool-obama

In the heady days of Obamamania – so cool so fake.

Obama was a gargantuan disappointment failing to deliver on his stunningly hyped message of progressive change as an antidote to the Bush Junta. In particular, African-American supporters were thrown into tail-spins of disillusionment or a psychosis of denial because he gave the U.S. population the exact opposite of emancipation and liberal dreams of equality: he became the figurehead of the same regime change foreign policy strategy killing hundreds of thousands in the process. Our ex-human rights lawyer tipped this country into a full-blown police state and allowed the NSA to transform America into a surveillance society. Despite Edward Snowden, Bradley/Chelsea Manning and other whistle-blowers the dark maneuvers of the NSA  became public knowledge but didn’t change. If anything, it got worse.

Barack Obama’s presidency, (as was his diabolical Nobel Peace Prize) was a carefully managed stage show, the same shadow marketing which has shaped successive presidents to ensure a role designed to whittle away corporate accountability and dismantle the constitution;  to preempt and degauss a restless population and enforce compliance by stealth on behalf of their banking masters.

The same worship of authoritarianism is as relevant now as it was just after the Industrial Revolution and the outgrowth of elite institutional directives post World War II.  Accordingly, the same divide and rule formula in combination with the conditioned “normality” of statism had been used against a dumbed down populace for more than one hundred and fifty years. Yet, we live in the Information Age, an equivalent to an internal expansion of the mind in the same vain that the Industrial Revolution was an expansion of external control. And yet, still – STILL – you have terminally deluded individuals who feel duty-bound to support and defend this war criminal against all the bloody evidence. Such objective proof batters on the door of people with conscience up and down the country pleading to be recognised. Unfortunately, it seems denial and lies have been inculcated to such an extent that a collective Stockholm Syndrome is still holding sway.

“I’m a bit of a P. T. Barnum.” Trump, 1991

Indeed he is – and so the show goes on.

Whether you like or loathe Donald Trump he appears to have been the first in a long time to have been democratically elected offering a platform of nationalist capitalism. It remains to be seen if this trajectory will oppose the hybrid blend of cultural Marxism and cartel capitalism which has been destroying the socio-cultural fabric of America for decades. Although Trump, with help from the media is perceived as a sexist, racist and bigoted demagogue (all, or some of which may be true) he is getting down to business and attempting change, despite the media-led hysteria and propaganda. What I want to do in these series of articles is not just explore whether Donald Trump is the caricature of the ivory tower rich but to question the hysteria and focus of the the left in light of their rude awakening to such a presidency. Moreover, how this cognitive dissonance is actually feeding into the Establishment’s wishes.

It’s proving a very tough call indeed for many who consider themselves “progressive” and “left-liberal” to see the wood for the trees. Indeed, it seems the very notion of “wood” or “trees” simply doesn’t register. Gee, we gotta have the first female president already…That’s all that matters right? The fact that Hillary Clinton is one of the most repellent criminals ever to stain politics seems to be of secondary importance. And it was the same PR/marketing brand of an Establishment candidate that propelled Barack Obama and his “Hope and Change” into office. “Wouldn’t it be neat to have the first black president and then the first female president? Keewwwwl.”  And when that didn’t work out the encroachment of reality meant collective fingers were thrust into ears and screaming tantrums exploded into protests; calls for a democratic re-vote were screamed from behind balaclavas contradicting the whole basis of democracy in the first place: Whaaaaaaaaaaa! – cue toys thrown out of pram.

If that wasn’t enough, then the predominantly twenty-something middle class voters accuse “fascist pig Trump” of exactly the same style of group-think fascism in calling for his assassination and abusing anyone who has the temerity to think differently. So much for free speech. It appears as if inclusiveness and cooperation, tolerance and humanitarianism is only for those in your own tribe. Otherwise, you can apparently “Go fuck yourself.”

The videos here here, and here  pretty much sum up the petulance and hypocrisy on display to the point where self-entitled snowflakes hurl abuse at all and everyone and self-proclaimed “anarchists” decide to trash property and commit violence on Trump supporters. Now, despite having a few issues with Conservative and Libertarian views, when Barack Obama was elected there was no such reaction from this sector of belief nor did they have very public and attention-seeking meltdowns of the kind we are getting from the left in tandem with usual MSM editorials. I resonate to anarchism in its original meaning, the origins of which these spoiled young narcissists appear to have no clue at all, preferring to vomit their unresolved issues everybody else. Be the change you’d like to see in the world? If that’s the case then America’s fallen into the path of Non-being…

Official Culture Reprise III: Authoritarianism Revisited (2)

“… instead of trusting what their own minds tell them, men have as a rule a weakness for trusting others who pretend to supernatural sources of knowledge.”

Authoritarianism only becomes a dominant force when ponerisation is advanced and normal humanity succumbs to the emerging restrictions. Our trust and belief in those who offer the pretence of leadership and a para-moral imperative appears to have a symbiotic relationship to our wilful blindness and apathy which is also part of the rise and fall of numerous Empires. Someone to lead and show us the way, someone with power, personality and charismatic inspiration that is almost spiritual… The same old patterns are in evidence everywhere one looks.

But what if such power lies within a network of human beings who have shed their reliance on an external authority and have discovered the pragmatism of their own centered faith in the Universe and each other? Do we have to have to have ideologues who arrive based on what we lack inside? Is it possible to manifest a leader or leaders who are drawn from something quite different and where the very notion of leadership is redefined?

We have explored the theories of ponerology, authoritarianism and our own stratum of wishful thinking and wilful blindness. We must also factor in an undue emphasis on the material world and the separation from Nature to which we are mysteriously connected, not just through the thousands of years of bio-rhythms and collective archetypes pulsating through the human psyche, but resonant through our very DNA. We might also posit that all the problems of the world lie not in economic, ecological or socio-cultural solutions but ultimately in our relationship to ourselves and the potential to connect with realities that transcend the five senses.

Puppets & Players VII: Trilateral Commission

organigramme_Trilateral-commissionTrilateral Commission networking (Click on the image)

Founded by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski in July 1973, the Trilateral Commission (TC) also describes itself as a non-governmental, non-partisan discussion group set up to encourage closer cooperation among the United States, Europe and Japan. Or in the TC’s own words it was formed: “…by private citizens of Western Europe, Japan and North America to foster closer cooperation among these three regions on common problems. It seeks to improve public understanding of such problems, to support proposals for handling them jointly, and to nurture habits and practices of working together among these regions.” [1]

The Executive Committee chooses members with a suitable insider pedigree, offering some form of expertise in their chosen field be it finance, economics, politics or media. Most important however is the kinship to globalist ideals. These members total around 350 for a three-year renewable period, meeting several times a year to discuss their work and organize TC strategies. As with the CFR and Bilderberg, TC annual reports are available and its beliefs and ideologies are clear. The real operations and strategies for the coming years are not revealed and to do so would be dangerous, the simple reason being that their objectives would be seen for what they are: irresponsible and undemocratic albeit dressed up in the civilised language of the government technocrat.

Disarmingly described as a high level “discussion group” it publishes a quarterly magazine called the Trialogue in which all kinds of barely restrained empire-building ideas clash to together in frightfully civilised fashion. Yet, as author Anthony Sutton wrote in Trilaterals over Washington: “… this group of private citizens is precisely organized in a manner that ensures its collective views have significant impact on public policy.” When combined with CFR and the Bilderberg Group along with a multitude of other branches we quickly realise that there is a very significant and powerful force at work which influences foreign and domestic policy. [2]

The suitably nebulous and vague terms used in the introduction to the TC found at trilateral.org serves to limit the attention from media and public alike. Indeed, the website itself looks sombre and dull enough to send even the most avid geo-political watcher straight to sleep. For all most disinterested people know, they might be meeting to play chess or past the time chatting good-naturedly over a game of golf while setting the world to rights for all. The impression given is one of economic benevolence; fatherly leaders and venerable statesmen doing rarefied work on the Great-Unwashed’s behalf; striving to bring the economic model of East and West together so that all may share its numerous bounties.

The TC membership operates along the same lines as the CFR and as might be expected, many members ping-pong between both groups. If the Council on Foreign Relations is the crucible of world state concepts and ideas then the Trilateral Commission is tasked with commissioning those ideas into reality extending their visions into the strategically important geography of Eurasia. Tucked away on the founding members page of the website there is finally a mention of Zbigniew Brzezinski who: “… played an important role in the formation of the Commission and served as its first director from 1973 to 1976. After serving in the Carter Administration, Dr. Brzezinski rejoined the Commission in 1981 and served on the executive committee until 2009.” [3]In 1970, as a young Polish intellectual, Brzezinski foresaw the rising economic power of Japan, and post-war Europe. Brzezinski was also a big fan of Karl Marx, adapting and expanding his theories. World-order politics was to be promoted through a trilateral economic linkage between Japan, Europe, and the United States. David Rockefeller was excited by Brzezinski’s vision of collectivism and capitalism which dove-tailed neatly into the Rockefellers’ love of China. This merging of corporatism and Maoism/Stalinsim was to be the template for the New Economy under Banking rule. Hand in hand, Rockefeller provided the income and Brzezinski academic clout and together they brought to bear a formidable network of high level contacts.

TrilateralList2010

Trilateral Commission Executive Committee 2010 (www.publicintelligence.net/)

Like David Rockefeller and his family, Brzezinski’s chameleon-like influence is enormous (if not infamous) which is why his presence on TC is understated despite his conceptual echoes present on every page. As a geo-political strategist and tactician; a Machiavellian insider and all-round, intellectual genius, Brzezinski built a reputation for providing insights into the future that were both compelling and accurate, exemplified in his book: Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives (1997). He would be an obvious choice to organise and manifest David Rockefeller’s equally neo-feudalist vision for integrating Asia into their ambitious visions of a “New Economic World Order.”

Brzezinski’s grooming and educating of Jimmy Carter to be Presidential material and aligned to TC’s interests – like Obama – began years earlier in 1973 when Carter was offered a place as founding member of the newly–created commission, which he duly accepted. It was to be a coup for the TC. The late former Republican Senator and opposing candidate Barry Goldwater saw the writing on the wall when he wrote:

“David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski found Jimmy Carter to be their ideal candidate. They helped him win the nomination, and the presidency. To accomplish this purpose, they mobilized the money power of the Wall Street bankers, the intellectual influence of the academic community – which is subservient to the wealth of the great tax-free foundations – and the media controllers represented in the membership of the CFR, and the Trilateral.”[4]

Zbigniew Brzezinski

The Carter administration with Brzezinski as US National Security Advisor had 19 Trilaterals either with government posts or with cabinet positions. [5]That was a lot of political power directed in a decidedly Rockefeller-Brzezinski direction. Carter the peanut farmer, much like the law student Barack Obama would be a figurehead for something quite different to the political marketing. The perceptions which underpin the TC and CFR groups are Capitalist-Marxist philosophies. Capitalist in the sense that deregulated corporatism and privatisation reigns supreme and Marxist in the sense of Jewish-influenced Cultural Marxism of the Frankfurt School topped off with traditional Fabian socialism. This is why this belief system is so attractive to the Rockefeller dynasty and their worshippers – it provides the perfect template for World State rule and centralised control.

There is no conspiracy here at all.  They are very open in their views as they know the general public and most government and agency officials have little understanding of their true objectives, nor do they have the conceptual understanding of the long term strategy and the background of occult principles involved.

In Brzezinski’s Between Two Ages his belief hinged around the idea that three important stages of evolution, had been passed and that mankind was presently midway through the fourth and final stage. Stage 1 was “Religious”, the second stage “nationalism” and the third stage was “Marxism” which he described as: “… a further vital and creative stage in the maturing of man’s universal vision.” This would lead to the final transformative stage of the Technetronic Era where humanism, technocracy and a World State hybrid of capitalism and Marxism would be engineered around exact mechanisms of a “scientific technique.” Barry Goldwater suggested TC’s objective was: “… a skilful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power: political, monetary, intellectual, and ecclesiastical … [in] the creation of a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation-states involved. They believe the abundant materialism they propose to create will overwhelm existing differences. As managers and creators of the system they will rule the future.” [6]

The Senator was correct in that they believe in an economic utopia but incorrect that such a vision extended to all. The TC, CFR game-plan has always been predicated on an Elite class which expects global serfdom to meekly roll over to their rulers, doffing their hats in subservient awe. Like all Trilateralists, Brzezinski believed that national sovereignty and: “… Democracy is inimical to imperial mobilization.” And therefore: “… as America becomes an increasingly multi-cultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.” [7]

And this has been the constant siren call of the various sectors of the Three Establishment Model (3EM). This “threat” – and many others since – was certainly delivered in the guise of the September 11th attacks which served to speed up Anglo-American-Israeli hegemony in the form of the Police-Surveillance State, a brutal Middle Eastern resource grab and the emergence of a a new cold war, despite the best efforts of Vladimir Putin to prevent it. Russian-hater Brzezinski was well aware of what was coming down the pipeline, probably because he was one of the many advisory architects. American dominance can only be assured by maintaining conflict, breaking the spirit of the people and challenging Russia’s independence. It cannot be allowed to offer an alternative model – however imperfect – to the 3EM. The trilaterals are therefore very keen indeed to demonise Russia and the media propaganda has been put into action in ways not seen since the Bay of Pigs.

This brings us to the next and perhaps most important outpost for globalist strategy: the Bilderberg Group.

World Revolution III: The Courage to Critique

“Deluded people. You must understand that there exists a conspiracy in favor of despotism, and against liberty, of incapacity against talent, of vice against virtue, or ignorance against light! … Every species of error which afflicts the earth, every half-baked idea, every invention serves to fit the doctrines of the Illuminati …The aim is universal domination.”

Marquis de Luchet Essay on the Sect of the Illuminati January, 1789.

The Marquis De Luchet was initially in favour of the French Revolution until presumably joined the dots regarding his friend the Comte de Mirabeau and realised all was not well. He wasn’t the only one who thought the Revolution had been hijacked away from genuine grassroots uprising. Discerning politicians in America and Britain were also sounding the alarm, but these were lone voices in a sea of romantic resolve. The Irish philosopher and Member of Parliament Edmund Burke * issued stern warnings during the onset of the Revolution and incurred the wrath of the public and many of his colleagues as a result.

clip_image002

               Edmund Burke

Burke was an expert on change. He knew intuitively that radical change, too swift and sweeping, frequently led to the very same dynamics of tyranny. While he had given his support to the American Revolution, the causes of which in his opinion, were of an entirely different nature, he felt it duty bound to resist supporting the French people for reasons that will be become apparent.

Much like the media of today, hit pieces appeared in the press which were controlled by Illuminati agents hiding behind the cover of liberal sentiments. Suddenly, Burke’s once popular standing was swiftly reduced to rubble after his publication of Reflections on the Revolution in France (1790). The treatise is now widely seen as the statesman’s defining moment for its erudition, prescience and wisdom. It consisted of a correspondence with “a Paris gentleman” a French aristocrat named Charles-Jean-François Depont who had asked Burke for his impressions of the Revolution. This resulted in two letters, the latter of which became Reflections.

As a protestant and a Whig, his conservatism was just and represented the benevolent aspect of a capitalism that grew into something quite different in this century. Liberty and power were entwined and represented a force for good or for ill depending on who was at the helm. A cardinal rule for Burke and for those of us paying attention to politics subsequently, is to recognise: “… in situations where those who appear the most stirring in the scene may possibly not be the real movers.” [1] Early on in the midst of Revolution euphoria he saw the much trumpeted “liberty” as counterfeit and cautioned people to see the Revolution for what it was – a carefully engineered coup against certain sections of society. (Such a plea for caution was levelled by many observers at the onset of Barack Obama’s election both in terms of the scale of expenditure involved and the “yes we can” Obamamania marketing which ensued. Obviously, not much has changed.

Burke wrote:

When I see the spirit of liberty in action, I see a strong principle at work; and this, for a while, is all I can possibly know of it. The wild gas, the fixed air, is plainly broke loose; but we ought to suspend our judgment until the first effervescence is a little subsided, till the liquor is cleared, and until we see something deeper than the agitation of a troubled and frothy surface. I must be tolerably sure, before I venture publicly to congratulate men upon a blessing, that they have really received one.

Flattery corrupts both the receiver and the giver, and adulation is not of more service to the people than to kings. I should, therefore, suspend my congratulations on the new liberty of France until I was informed how it had been combined with government, with public force, with the discipline and obedience of armies, with the collection of an effective and well-distributed revenue, with morality and religion, with the solidity of property, with peace and order, with civil and social manners. All these (in their way) are good things, too, and without them liberty is not a benefit whilst it lasts, and is not likely to continue long. [2] [Emphasis mine]

And he was right.

Delacroix, Eugene Liberty Leading The People, 1830 , Paris, Louvre

Liberty Leading The People, Eugene Delacroix, 1830, Paris, Louvre

Burke was also acutely aware of the significance of the French Revolution that could remake Europe and even the world under tyrannical lines: “It appears to me as if I were in a great crisis, not of the affairs of France alone, but of all Europe, perhaps of more than Europe.” He was fully cognizant of the nature of the usurpers of power that were inspired by such thinkers as Rousseau and Voltaire who were avowed rationalists and believers in a ruling Elite – the forerunners a Hegelian World Order. Many of the the Age of Reason and the Enlightenment pioneers represented dangerous abstractions to traditionalists like Burke who knew that society was a complex organism that did not operate on simplistic laws which benefited a ruling class grounded in man’s power rather than God’s. He had no time for those who believed in authoritarian rule whether a divinely appointed monarchic Establishment or an Elite ruling class. Similarly, if a government was oppressive then the people should oppose it, therefore, rather than open revolution he preferred gradual constitutional reform.

Burke was well aware of the Order of Illuminati often referring to them as the “Philosophe sect” in many of his writings. He criticised the Enlightenment’s “social contract” which was a socio-political theory based on Goethe’s Faustian pact. One has to have consented, either explicitly or tacitly, to give up one’s freedoms in exchange for what little rights may be left even though they may have been slowly eroded down to nothing, a process playing out in the West today, particularly in Britain and the United States. This surrendering to authority may be a Presidential court of law or the consensus of a majority. Either way, it is a backdoor to tyranny which is exactly why the Illuminati promoted this line of thinking.

The social contract was very much en vogue at the time. Burke granted credence to the idea that society is a contract: “But it is not a partnership in things subservient only to the gross animal existence of a temporary and perishable nature” rather, it is: “a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.” He makes a pointed reference to the cold, rationalism of the Illuminists and the beliefs of materialism, deism and atheism that they were encouraging. He makes a case for the complexities of history and the links that humans created over time with a rich tapestry of social values which cannot be suddenly erased in favour of something perceived as socially responsible and harmonious, least of all by a sect which represented the “public” image of a far greater threat than even these lone voices realised.

Burke’s views also differed from Thomas Hobbes’ theory which effectively saw man and women as numbers on an economic chart to move around at will presaging the game theorists of later years. And here one can see why the Irish philosopher was so fiercely ridiculed on orders of Illuminists: he was the polar opposite of their ideals and precisely what was needed in large numbers to counter their plans.

***

giloriglil.jpg“The Reign of Terror” commenced from 1793 until 1794 under the dictatorship of Maximilien Robespierre and the Jacobin mob. There is a general consensus from past statistics of the Terror, the causes of which came from the Orwellian-sounding Committee of Public Safety and The Revolutionary Tribunal and which stood at approximately 16,000 and 41,000 deaths. Historian Dr Marisa Linton of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Kingston University quoted a figure of 16,594 death sentences and a total which excluded those “… that died without formal death sentences imposed in a court of law.” And further: “Many perished in overcrowded and unsanitary prisons while awaiting trial. Many of those who died in the civil wars and federalist revolts did not have their deaths officially recorded.” [3]

However, Linton continues:

“… recent estimates of the number of deaths in the Vendée have caused historians to revise that figure considerably. One historian, Pierre Chaunu, spoke of the Vendée with deliberate provocation as a ‘genocide’ and claimed that 500,000 rebels had died. More realistic estimates, such as that by Jean-Clément Martin, suggest up to 250,000 insurgents and 200,000 republicans met their deaths in a war in which both sides suffered appalling atrocities. Another group that was decimated by the unleashing of the Terror was that of the revolutionaries themselves. Successive revolutionary factions fell victim to the Terror that, in many cases, they had themselves helped to orchestrate.” [4]

Apart from other methods of execution such as hanging, firing squad and even drowning, the gruesome, mechanical evil of the guillotine sliced through the necks of anyone who disagreed with the Revolution. It was the manner in which this “social uprising” was conducted which cast a dark stain across its avowed principles. Many victims were also set upon and murdered by death squads which roamed the cities of France often as out-sourced mercenaries. As a microcosm of the Spanish Inquisition, the Nazi holocaust, the English Witch-hunts or Stalinist rule, Revolutionary France was not a place to be for any true progressive, peasant or aristocrat. Many were murdered through rumour, accusation or the denouncement of a business competitor or creditor even if entirely innocent.[5]

terror

Anonymous print: “It is dreadful but necessary” (C’est affreux mais necessaire”) from the Journal d’Autre Monde 1794

Of the thousands to be condemned to the guillotine 8 percent (1031) were aristocrats, 6 percent (674) clergy, 14 percent (2923) middle class, and a whopping 72 percent (7878) were workers or peasants accused of hoarding, evading the draft, desertion or rebellion.[6] This tells you something important about the nature of the “People’s Revolution” in itself, namely, it was a text book example of despotic rule.

The Committee for Public Safety – a classic example of paramoralistic wording – allowed revolutionary tribunals to convict people without hearing evidence and which was called the Law of Prairial. In September 1793, the Convention passed a law called the Law of Suspects where the “public safety” actually meant people could now be put in prison without trial: “Suspects shall be locked up …. The proof necessary to convict enemies … can be any kind of evidence … If proof already exists there need be no further witnesses …The penalty for all offences under the law of revolutionary tribunal is death.” [7] It didn’t really matter who you were or what you did, once in the mouth of the machine there was little anyone could do. Very often French folk were condemned to death and executed the same day.

The following examples indicate the arbitrary nature of accusations which resulted in death:

Jean-Baptiste Henry, aged 18, journeyman tailor, convicted of having sawn down a tree of liberty, executed 6th September, 1793.

Francois Bertrand, aged 37, publican, convicted of having provided the defenders of the country with sour wine, condemned and executed the same day.

Henriette Francoise Marboeuf, aged 55, convicted of having hoped for the arrival of the Austrians and Prussians and of keeping food for them, condemned to death and executed the same day. [8]

As the terror came to gradual end in July 1794, revolutionary surveillance committees (Comité de surveillance révolutionnaire) with oversight by district committees continued the formula of repression for many years after.

There is ample evidence to suggest the eradication of counter-revolutionaries was part of a larger policy of depopulating France of “enemies of the people” which meant everyone who was not of the same mind. Author Nesta Webster suggested that the almost unimaginable slaughter of hundreds of thousands of French citizens during the Terror was indeed a deliberate campaign of genocide, an 18th Century example of an Elite belief which is so prominent and popular in political, academic and UN-led institutions today. Though conceived as part of the Committee’s plan, it has the classic hallmarks of the occult Establishment clique and so many World State believers: in order to return to an Eden ruled by a superior class of demi-Gods or Olympians a periodic culling of the rabble was necessary by whatever means available at the time.

As Steve Bonta describes in his article on effectively “Two Revolutions”:

The mad Marat, for whatever reason, had an idee fixe that demanded the massacre of 260,000 victims. But his blood lust was soon surpassed by his depraved “democratic” confreres. Jean Bon St. Andre averred that France’s population of 25 million “must be reduced by more than half.” Collot d’Herbois declared it must be reduced to 10 million. Carrier insisted only 6 million should survive. Guffoy said 5 million, whilst Robespierre is reported to have said that a population of 2 million would be more than enough. “Let us make a cemetery of France rather than not regenerate her after our manner,” declared Carrier. He and his confederates proceeded to do just that. After their abominable massacres in La Verdee, the revolutionists proudly reported back to the Convention in Paris, “we have left nothing behind us but ashes and piles of corpses.” All of this a century and a half before the likes of Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, and other 20th-century genocidal dictators made mass extermination a jaded political cliché. [9]

Bonta shows us that the reality of an Age of Enlightenment was in fact a quality of “illumination” which set alight only certain aspects of human endeavour in the modern age. Moreover, it’s rapid descent into destruction showed it’s shadow side in dramatic fashion. It was: “… a Revolution that began with a proud rejection of Deity, and worship of the State, turned into a hideous, blood-soaked parody of civilization, where technology and reason were applied to mass murder in the name of enlightened social engineering.” This set the stage for a fractal replication within a Western geo-political context.

Indeed, does this not describe the United States and NATO expansionism of the last fifty years?

Once again, the Jacobin Club was host to a surfeit of brutal psychopaths more than willing to take on the blood-letting. Sensing predation in the air, sniffing out victims with a super-natural instinct, another pattern of unrelenting horror was st in motion, allowing their true selves to manifest with impunity since their actions were fully mandated by the authorities. Sadistic individuals like Jean Paul Marat and his army of “Marats” or “Mulattos” were at the forefront of this mass murder, a logical result of authoritarian followers and essential psychopaths being given – quite literally – a free Reign. Marat was only among a number of anti-human individuals who undertook their tasks with extraordinary relish and were deemed useful for suppressing dissent and revolt against the Convention. Massacres and mass executions began to appear on a scale that harked back to the decimation of Cathar credents by the Inquisition in Languedoc.

Of particular note was one Jean-Baptiste Carrier who became notorious for for creating a variety of horrific ways for victims to be put to death. One method which he favoured on more than one occasion was to cram large numbers of people into boats with trap doors in the floors which he ordered sent out into the Loire to be sunk. This manner of mass death was frequently employed against the clergy whom he hated with a passion and in one instance exclaimed: “I have never laughed so much as when I saw the grimaces those priests made as they died.” So many bodies were floating in the rivers of France that it became a health problem and drinking was prohibited.

Hundreds of prisoners were also lined up in fields and summarily shot by the National Guard; anti-revolutionaries – which sometimes numbered many hundreds – were mown down by fusillades and whole cities ransacked; children were clubbed, run through with sabres and shot en masse, a particular activity close to Carrier’s heart.

Perhaps no other city suffered as much as Nantes. It was almost entirely emptied of people who were then starved in its prisons, shot to death, guillotined and cut down in their homes on orders of Carrier and his minions. Special drains were installed in the Place de la Revolution in Paris to cope with the torrents of blood from the guillotine.

As various strains of anti-social pathologies take hold and subsequently elevated to positions of influence over ordinary men and women, large-scale psychological trauma and /or genocide on a macro-social scale is the inevitable result. Sophisticated ideals and morals are swiftly torn away and discarded like confetti, rapidly overtaken by the true purpose of a Revolution of this nature: political strategy thought up and carried out with psychopathic brutality. “The end justifies the means” is the mantra of the Elite Pathocrat where all is permitted for the cause of rending flesh from the the conscience of the normal psyche.

The parallels of pathology between the “Reign of Terror” and the “Red Terror” and even the evolution of the “War on Terror” appear to come from the same source. Just as Carrier enrolled companies of criminals or “mulattos”, the same dynamics were followed by Leninists troops as they were formed during the Communistic Terror in Hungary and by agent Trotsky who created terrorist troops as well as the Chinese gangs in Russia. Russian writer Alexsi Kuprin, questioned how it was possible that such a: “… bilious and dyspeptic chemist, anarchist, spy and plotter, whose speeches are full of such phrases as ‘roast on a slow fire’, ‘strangle’, ‘inundate with blood’, ‘cut off their heads’, should be seized by a blind fate and placed in the seat of power, instead of ending his days as a ‘sadist’ in a ward for violent lunatics?” [10]

In societies dominated by a rising tide of Pathocracy such people become valued political tools who find their natural place within the various tributaries of pathology, cloaking themselves in differing garbs of beliefs and ideals.

As writer George Rivers-Pitt states:

“Robespierre and Marat, like their ardent admirers, Lenin and AS at the present day, were animated by the same noble vision, not to relieve present distress and injustice by legislation, but only to annihilate all existing conditions, and “to exterminate all classes of the community except ‘the people’ over whom they hoped to rule supreme”. […] In their vision of the ‘New Birth of Society’, it is the blood of the Caesarean section they hope to practise on the expiring mother society, not the fate of the offspring which is their chief concern. […]Now that the terrorist period appears to have burned itself out to a very great extent in Russia, it is well that we should realise that it was an essential and deliberately designed phase of the Bolshevik plan, and that, as it was manifested with the same maniacal ferocity, wholesale butchery and bestiality, in Hungary, so would it be an inevitable prelude to any successful attempt to establish the same regime in any other European country. Mob licence and destruction would be encouraged and tolerated only as a means to preparing the way for the new dictators and for placing them in power.”  [11]

The vast upsurge of revolutionary ideas which led to the Great Terror needed anti-human individuals to facilitate a framework of control whereby such unbridled desires could be exercised against the populations without resistance and where sadism manifested across the whole psychopathic spectrum. This is essentially what systematic and organised atrocity means for those who perpetrate such deeds – a pleasure that matches sexual gratification. In the sacking and plunder of Toulouse in South-Western France, 19th century author of semi-fictional Cathar accounts Maurice Magre intuited such a contagion that stimulates and appeals to the lowest instincts in man and a natural state of psychopathy when the right conditions are in place:

“I had always believed that the affinity for theft and the desire for riches were at the roots of war. I realised that they were futile. The procession of women is the propelling force that pushes men to fight. The only thing the soldiers were talking about was the beautiful women they were going to take from the conquered cities … something akin to a sexual hallucination raged like a ghost in the back of everyone’s gaze.” [12]

The ceremonial psychopathy of Illuminism permitted such ponerological influences to emerge unhindered and driven towards a specific plan. The huge fire of anti-Catholic, anti-Christian feeling was lit and fanned by the members of the Illuminati in order to begin the eradication of religion itself. It was made more radical by the installment of the Revolutionary Calendar in the same year, perfectly in line with Illuminati designs. This resulted in a swift and systematic campaign drawn from a number of disparate groups which popped up from 1789 – 1801 until the signing of the Concordat which allowed some measure of civil status to return for Catholicism in France. It was a “Cult of Reason” that decimated not just Catholic institutions but any groups, Churches or organisations under the Christian faith; a veritable microcosm of Communist Russia. For example, a 1793 law made all non-juring priests and all persons who harboured them liable to death on sight. (Rather like those suspected of being Al-Qaeda can now be assassinated without any rights whatsoever).

Mémoires pour servir à l’histoire du Jacobinisme (Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism) a four volume book published by French Jesuit priest, Abbé Augustin Barruel, proved to be a vindication of Edmund Burke’s warnings. The book was published in French in 1797-78 and translated into English in 1799. Although considered as a founding document for a right-wing or conservative interpretation of the French Revolution, this only serves to undermine the central premise and narrow down the critique to a “left-right” discourse. There are facts at work here that transcend the superficial question of whether someone has a political axe to grind.

Augustin_Barruel

French polemicist Augustin Barruel (1741-1820)

Barruel outlined the Illuminist conspiracy to overthrow the monarchy, religion and aristocratic society in Europe, a plot that was “one continuous chain of cunning, art, and seduction” carried out by a conglomeration of philosophes, freemasons, and Illuminati members. Burke wrote to Barruel clearly impressed by the book, seeing it as a vindication of his own views: “I cannot easily express to you how much I am instructed and delighted by the first volume of your History of Jacobinism,” he wrote, mentioning: “… the most judicial regularity and exactness …” of his documents and source materials. Most interesting of all is Burkes admission that he knew: “… personally five of your principal conspirators; and I can undertake to say from my own certain knowledge, that as far back as the year 1773, they were busy in the plot you have so well described, and in the manner, and on the principle you have so truly represented. To this I can speak as a witness.” [13]

Burke was not a sensationalist but a pragmatic father of liberal conservatism. It is precisely because of his wisdom and perspicacity that he was able to see through the propaganda and manipulation of the “Philosophe sect” and lend his support to Barruel’s work in the face of a legion of detractors, most of whom were riding on the new paradigm of science, reason and its domination of Nature and mind.

Ten years later, in 1798, the Scottish scientist John Robison, published a treatise under the long winded title of: Proofs of a Conspiracy against All the Religions and Governments of Europe, carried on in the Secret Meetings of the Free Masons, Illuminati, and Reading Societies which confirmed much of the information in Barruel’s volumes. The author himself commented on in correspondence with Robison: “Without knowing it, we have fought for the same cause with the same arms, and pursued the same course.” [14] Though these men constructed their critiques on the same theses of belief this should not have overshadowed the facts. Anyone paying close attention would have to agree that history has proved these men quite correct.

Edmund Burke’s comments were extraordinarily accurate on the nature of Pathocracy once the doors had been opened. He had commented that the general disorder would make the army “mutinous and full of faction,” and then a “popular general,” commanding the soldiery’s allegiance, would become “master of your assembly, the master of your whole republic.” [15] After the execution of Robespierre, the Jacobins had outlived their usefulness as rent-a-mob for the sect and fell into rapid decline. By 1795, the Directory had control of the French state until 1799, which saw the rise of next the phase of theFrench Revolution this time under Napoleon, two years after Burke’s death.

The question as to whether Napoleon Bonaparte was a freemason has never been answered. In one sense, the disdain for organised religion, monarchy, aristocracy, the introduction of legal reform and the abolition of serfdom fits into the designs of Illuminism. The unimaginable changes that this one individual brought to Europe and eventually the world, in such a rapid time frame would probably have made many a French Illuminist and freemason proud. Whilst seeing it as an opportunity for his own political ambitions, he had been a supporter of the Revolution since it was obvious that corruption and elitism was eating France alive.  Extremely aware of the volatile and darker forces at work he had kept his down, avoided too much attention and bided his time.

Napoleon was highly intelligent with a philosopher’s mind entirely in keeping with the Age of Reason and Enlightenment principles. Indeed, it could be said that he personified the mentality, brute force, and the simultaneous bringer of New life, death and destruction that rationalism wrought on the collective mind. A gifted soldier and tactician first and foremost, he was unlike the Illuminists in respect to his code of honour which was as unimpeachable as his belief in the State. The use of terror tactics was an anathema to Napoleon and while his ruthlessness in war is undeniable, war crimes of rape, pillage and unnecessary death he studiously avoided, having men shot who flouted those principles. Despite certain historians with axes to grind portraying the man as a monster, he was no such thing. Certainly, he presided over hundreds of thousands of deaths on his quest for a New Napoleonic Order, but he was a soldier through and through – a warrior you might say.

Napoleon_on_the_Capitol

He was perhaps too much his own man and as such, pride was his downfall. One thing that authoritarian leaders have is a large – if not gargantuan – ego. It is for this reason that it is unlikely that Napoleon was anybody’s secret strategist, since he believed the power which imbued his actions came from a Divine source, even though he had little time for religious theology which grated on his scientific mind. In one of Napoleon’s own writings his final couplet reads: “God helps those who helps himself. I approve of that idea myself.” This is a good summary of the practical, independent nature of his own spirituality. Ever open to arrange events and opportunities like pieces on a chess board for multiple future “check-mates” it is therefore, more likely that Napoleon  placated and used freemasonry and Illuminism for his own ends. Or as an American freemason suggested in a lodge newsletter: “The only matter of certainty is that he countenanced the institution [of freemasonry] and astutely made it subserve his own purposes”. [16]

Andrew Robert’s comprehensive and fascinating biography of Napoleon only mentions freemasonry once. At almost 900 pages, and with access to over 30,000 personal letters of Napoleon’s at the author’s disposal, one would have imagined he would have gleaned some minor indications of a freemasonic/Illuminist influence in his plans – but none were apparent. What Robert’s does show is that freemasons “tended to be supporters of his modernization programmes – especially in Italy.” He described but one meeting on December 2nd, 1797 with Napoleon as a guest of honour at a masonic lodge in Nancy as he was on his way to Paris. [17]

Weishaupt’s Order of the Illuminati, its infiltration of freemasonry and its fuelling of the Enlightenment was well-known in the New American Republic. Head of freemasonry in the fledging nation, President George Washington was more than satisfied that “the doctrines of the Illuminati and the principles of Jacobinism” had: “spread in the United States.” Nonetheless, he was rightly convinced that original freemasonry was not at fault, rather that it was the result of individuals insinuating themselves into the lodges with their: “diabolical tenets” and “pernicious principles” and were thus: “too evident to be questioned.” [18]

476px-George_Washington,_freemason_02796u_original

“Washington as a freemason. A full-length portrait of George Washington, standing, facing slightly right, in masonic attire, holding scroll and trowel.” (wikipedia)

Thomas Jefferson took an entirely different view. So much so, that that it was he who had acted as conduit for the Illuminati to enter the newly organized lodges of the “Scottish Rite” in New England. Jefferson defended Weishaupt saying:

“As Weishaupt lived under the tyranny of a despot and priests, he knew that caution was necessary even in spreading information, and the principles of pure morality. This has given an air of mystery to his views, was the foundation of his banishment … If Weishaupt had written here, where no secrecy is necessary in our endeavors to render men wise and virtuous, he would not have thought of any secret machinery for that purpose.” [19]

Indeed, it is now difficult to know when benign freemasonry begins and Illuminism ends when the very foundation of the US constitution and political system was steeped in masonic rites.

Author David Livingston describes George Washington’s Dedication of the United States Capitol in September 18, 1793:

“Dressed in Masonic apron, the president placed a silver plate on the cornerstone and covered it with the Masonic symbols of corn, oil and wine. The plan of the city of Washington DC itself was designed by Freemason and architect Pierre Charles L’Enfante in the form of a pentagram, or five-pointed star. In 1848, in a Masonic ceremony, the cornerstone was laid of the Washington Monument, an obelisk or pillar, like those formerly dedicated to the dying gods of ancient Middle East. And, every president of the United States since Independence has purportedly been a 33rd degree Freemason.” [20]

What were freemasons to do when the nature of the pathogen was so embedded within the whole fraternity and with secrecy and psychological espionage as its by-word? The seeds of the downfall of “benevolent” freemasonry were always present within its structure. With such an ancient fraternity, its networks in every conceivable corner of the developed world and centred in all the Establishment outposts of law and governance, it was the perfect platform from which to attack society from within, or as President of the University of Yale Timothy Dwight observed, thereby introducing: “the ultimate objects of their union, … the overthrow of religion, government, and human society civil and domestic.” [21]

Another American President, John Quincy Adams offered this logical appraisal of the Illuminati and how such a perversion of its already questionable principles was always waiting to happen:

“… the society of Masons have discovered a science of government, or art of ruling society, peculiar to themselves, and unknown to all the other legislators and philosophers of the world; I mean not only the skill to know each other by marks or signs that no other persons can divine but the wonderful power of enabling and compelling all men, and I suppose all women, at all hours, to keep a secret. If this art can be applied, to set aside the ordinary maxims of society, and introduce politics and disobedience to government, and still keep the secret, it must be obvious that such science and such societies may be perverted to all the ill purposes which have been suspected …” [22]

Though these great men knew of the threat they had no solutions for countering it. As George Washington said, “truth or falsehood is immaterial to them, provided their objects are promoted,” and it is the same Hegelian tactic which cultivates friends and enemies alike in order to divide and conquer and thereby rule, just as it was then and as it remains today. [23] With the death of Washington in 1799 another great mind to counter the rot was lost and the suspicion of Illuminist infiltration slowly disappeared from view as the decades rolled away.

Weishaupt died in 1830 just as the Grand wave of Zionism and Communism was about to come crashing down on an unsuspecting world still reeling from the “romance” of the Revolution. The march to a World Revolution was very much still in the minds of the Elect.

A constant reiteration throughout series is the psychopaths’ code for doing “what thou wilt” by any means to satisfy the natural will of the archetypal Predator. The French revolutionary, writer and diplomat Comte de Mirabeau best summed up the keynote of this primal philosophy which has been handed down through history: “What matter the means as long as one arrives at the end?” – the ends justify the means. It was a belief that lies in the kernel of Illuminism and their antecedents and which has been used to justify all manner of horrors under the banner of civilised progress.[24]

Disempowerment of ordinary human beings is the key principle of any oligarchy or elite mind-set. As we will explore in subsequent posts, the Rockefeller’s “green” and GMO-based “revolutions,” the farmers and the poor become trapped in a spiral of costs which have negative consequences for both communities and their environment. They have been induced to believe the proffered pots of gold of agribusiness, having believed the multi-million dollar sales and marketing pitches. Similarly, we can see that the Reign of Terror was not directed against the aristocrats, many of whom were of the same mind-set and quite sympathetic to revolutionary goals. Part of the true objectives of the Elite was to unseat and disenfranchise the power base of the peasantry: the small farmers who refused to turn over their grain to the revolutionary tribunals in exchange for assignats. The independent farmer is a great threat to the global governance and World State ideologues because his own produce means personal capital, which gives him independence. Independent farmers and their communities thus present an impediment for World Revolution. Control of food is also power.

At first, the Bolsheviks in Soviet Russia were convinced they had the beginnings of a World Revolution on their hands but were thwarted by the resistance of enclaves of independent farmers exploding the myth that such a form of control truly was for the worker or Proletariat. In fact, just as it was during the Reign of Terror, the Communist Party iconography of the tireless worker and devoted peasantry were systematically murdered and enslaved. The exact same patterns can be seen via latter-day corporatists and descendants of the “Age of Reason” who seek to crush the small farmers from India to America in order to wrest the reins of food management, distribution and production towards fully automated, genetically-modified, lab-based food. Consequently, a handful of conglomerates straddle agribusiness and biotech industries. This is what the Rockefeller controlled agricultural programs throughout Mexico and Latin America are really about.

All societal domains have been tainted with a familiar ideology which harks back to the tenets of Illuminist thinking, and the global occult body behind it. Signs of this anti-human perception of reality can be found in the Liberal Establishment’s  United Nations, government agencies, environmental activists and transhumanist thought, while American WASP and Euro-Synarchists’s cartel-capitalism and its debt-slavery is spread over the world care of the Structural Adjustment Team.

These two primary streams are converging to form another technological revolution in the guise of an emerging SMART society. For the Illuminists’ Age of Reason and Enlightenment visions, could they have imagined a better mnemonic acronym for their extraordinary success?

* I have to confess a personal interest in Edmund Burke since he is an ancestor of mine. He was an example of that thoroughly rare animal: the politician with scruples, integrity and conscience; an advocate of “human-heart” based conservatism who remained a believer of the State yes, but striving to retain a genuine benevolence in a period of immense social turmoil. Winston Churchill wrote this about him:

“On the one hand Burke is revealed as a foremost apostle of Liberty, on the other as the redoubtable champion of Authority. But a charge of political inconsistency applied to this life appears a mean and petty thing. History easily discerns the reasons and forces which actuated him, and the immense changes in the problems he was facing which evoked from the same profound mind and sincere spirit these entirely contrary manifestations. His soul revolted against tyranny, whether it appeared in the aspect of a domineering Monarch and a corrupt Court and Parliamentary system, or whether, mouthing the watch-words of a non-existent liberty, it towered up against him in the dictation of a brutal mob and wicked sect. No one can read the Burke of Liberty and the Burke of Authority without feeling that here was the same man pursuing the same ends, seeking the same ideals of society and Government, and defending them from assaults, now from one extreme, now from the other.”

Religious Authoritarians I

By M.K. Styllinski

“When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross.”

Sinclair Lewis

Guns, movies, fast-food, cheerleaders, the Super-Bowl, Disney and democracy might be some of things that first come to mind when you think of America. Religion and conservatism may be other keywords. What about fascism and authoritarianism? How many of us would think that the last four descriptors are gateways into perhaps the most important socio-cultural and geo-political shifts taking place in the US in its relatively short history? Well, you’d have to have been living under a rock not to notice the huge shifts in American society away from principles of a Republic let alone a perceived democracy. The evolution (or devolution) of the United States has drastic implications for every one of us, regardless of our geographical locations.

Some would think fascism – or Eternal Fascism as Umberto Eco preferred to call it – has long since been left for the historians to ponder and for us to thank our lucky stars that we are no longer part of the original rip-tide. Some would say that this perception has largely been buried in the emotional refuse tips of our tragic past. The problem is, past events are never really buried or forgotten. “Past is prologue.” We either learn to recognise the shoots of extremism or we choose to ignore them once again. By doing the latter we ensure that the old dark ways that led to the manifestations of our collective imbalance are unearthed, brushed off and given a fresh new lick of paint from the propaganda can. We ensure that they return stronger than ever with the power of technological advances gained from the innovations of war and the ever booming arms trade.

The result of the Second World War was over 65 million dead and millions more wounded; children orphaned; families broken up and generations left to cope with undiagnosed and endemic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The irony is, after such intense suffering, and with the healing balm of time attending to these wounds, the immediacy of the slaughter no longer shocks us. The Brave New World of an emerging Technocracy has dulled our critical faculties and heightened the need to escape; to forget the reasons why such evil manifested and why the Hysteriodal Cycle is coursing up through the our collective roots once again.

Much has been written on the possibility that The United States of America has succumbed to an irreversible form of fascism. It is an emotive word. We think of jackboots, Hitler’s speeches at Nuremberg, the concentration camps and the infamous swastika flag. Theories as to why such extremism has nestled its way into seemingly democratic structures have been thrashed out, discussed and debated; seemingly watertight beliefs and academic comfort zones have been erected to ensure such a mind-set could never return. Yet, it is surely evident that the desire to control and subdue sentient life by a trenchant minority could never have died. Indeed, there was no “return” to Nazism as it never went away, it merely adapted and clothed itself in new labels and ideological forms taking advantage of already established pathological channels laid down decades before.

Many of the architects of the Bush administration bulldozed their way to power on the platform of Project for the New American Century a Neo-Conservative blueprint for distinctly American-Zionist control. [1] The 9/11 attacks fit snugly into their overall game-plan for perpetual war, with the “war on terror” acting as a pretext for the needed climate of fear. But Neo-Conservatism was merely one strain in the ponerogenesis of the US socio-economic model that has proved convenient. While Neo-Con hawks were used to push through the Invasion of Iraq, religious authoritarianism has simply jumped onto to the next available grouping in government. So grave is the pathological dominance in the US administration it matters little who holds the reins of power. Be it Republican or Democrat, the American political system is broken and it is beyond repair. Perhaps it was always designed to fail.

george_w_bushObama12Marketing puppets has never been easier

Of course, the Neo-Conservatives are only one facet of an socio-political canker which gives rise to progressively extreme forms of social domination. Think tanks, occult groupings and various forms of social engineering sourced from a Conservative, Liberal and Zionist Establishment are all seeking to wage war on the normal man and woman, albeit  employing differing geo-political strategies. What they all have in common is psychopaths in power attempting to extract piecemeal, the soul of normal humanity – the recurrent psychophagic stratagem.

The roots of American fascism and their manifestations are complex but they follow recognisable patterns of emergence. The time-honoured practice of pathogenic infection demands a suitable platform of social unrest on which to ferment its ideas and mimic the original good intentions of its targeted host. Elaborate theories and seminal justifications are clothed with corporate suits and dignified by official titles and boardroom meetings. It takes time, effort and persistence; it requires the creation of conditions through which the spark of justification can be lit amid a tinderbox of future possibilities. The United States of America has now carved out such a role for itself.

It would be foolish to think that George W. Bush had the mental wherewithal to actually embody the presidential traits that we wistfully longed for. It is even more foolish to think that after such a caricature,  the “Hope and Change” marketing of Obamamania and its Nuremberg rallies of wilful blindness could ever deliver the goods. For many at the time there was a sense that maybe … just maybe he could light the blue touch paper that could lead to an illumination rather than a decimation of inner values. But it was not to be. True to wishful thinking and hi-tec propaganda a sizable proportion of the American electorate even now, still believe that Obama will eventually turn the country around. A tall order for any politician but an impossible for one who hasn’t keep any of his many promises  and even worse, has extended the Bush Reich legacy in ways undreamt of. Obama, like Bush, serves corporate interests and corporatism is inextricably bound to the erosion of civil liberties and the dominance of cartel capitalism.

Psychologists from National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health, came to some unexpected conclusions – at least for the Neo-Conservative congressman and officials –  with their extensive research paper titled: “Political Conservatism as Motivated Social Cognition.” The report, which cost $1.2m in public funds, found that “conservatism can be explained psychologically as a set of neuroses rooted in ‘fear and aggression, dogmatism and the intolerance of ambiguity’.” The authors stated that many proponents of conservatism from the past and present all: “preached a return to an idealised past and condoned inequality” The document linked Hitler, Mussolini, Ronald Reagan and the right-wing talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, as all suffering from the same “affliction.” Bush Jr. himself was cited as a textbook case in which his moral certainty, dislike of nuance: “… can lead people to cling to the familiar, to arrive at premature conclusions, and to impose simplistic clichés and stereotypes.” [2]

Similarly, there is the threat of what has been called inverted totalitarianism where the likes of Obama supporters and so-called “progressive” liberals of the left can unwittingly contribute to the formation of a “soft” dictatorship due to a highly subjective and juvenile rendering of reality. This is a wide open door to psychopathy and their toxic influences. It doesn’t matter if you are pushing a socialist dream or a conservative ideal or even a mixture of the two, both visions have been and will be used to supply the psychophagic supply for social dominance. Indeed, the discourse of disbelief serves to speed their manifestation. It is no coincidence that religious fanaticism underlies most of the current lines of high-level psychopathy in the country. It has encompassed a history of fear and social control over which the State and Church have presided. Keep in mind the nature of political ponerology as we look at authoritarianism, and those predisposed to follow it. In the next few posts we will look at some of the effects of this authoritarianism in the context of religion and conservative politics.

In 2006, Professor Bob Altemeyer, Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, published an online e-book entitled: The Authoritarians containing some of his thirty-year research into authoritarianism, its leaders and those personalities likely to end up as followers. His findings provided valuable information as to why it was that historically our collective beliefs – and usually our religious ones – led to such catastrophic consequences.

Altemeyer used an array of carefully designed surveys and role-playing methodologies to obtain some rich data on the nature of the authoritarian and social dominator qualities from thousands of university students and their various personality profiles. His research provides another window into normal folks alongside the minds of the psychopath, characteropath, narcissist and most importantly those that are predisposed to comply with authoritarian influence (which means a large percentage of us!) A brief detour into his findings will provide a platform for furthering understanding of social psychopathy and the descriptions of organised social abuse within the establishment that follows.

ALTEMEYER

Bob Altemeyer

What is authoritarianism? According to the Encyclopaedia-Britannica/Merriam-Webster Dictionary: “of, relating to, or favouring blind submission to authority.” It is also historically associated with “relating to, or favouring a concentration of power in a leader or an elite not constitutionally responsible to the people [i.e.] an authoritarian regime.”

So, how is it that authoritarianism manages to gain any kind of foothold in the mass populace? That’s where the authoritarian followers come in, sweeping the leaders to power on a tide of rhetoric, wishful thinking, religious dogmatism and blind faith. They willingly submit to anything that acts like an overarching, parental figurehead that tells them what to do, whether it is through governments or from the pages of the Bible, though neither are mutually exclusive as we’ve discovered.

Altemeyer places the right-wing authoritarian personality at two levels: high and low. Both have the following traits with the Highs manifesting as the more extreme version: 1) a high degree of submission to the established, legitimate authorities in their society; 2) high levels of aggression in the name of their authorities; and 3) a high level of conventionalism. He stresses that these are personality traits and not necessarily indicative of political preference which means he uses “right-wing” to encompass both left and right expressions of that personality, but there is a much higher incidence of authoritarianism in religiously-inclined Republicans.

What makes these personalities so amenable to psychopaths and other social dominators who insinuate themselves into power is the naive ease to which they submit to their “parent / teacher” figures. They joyfully believe in their own exceptionalism and project onto their leaders similar rarefied qualities which they consider to be above the law. From this alone, you can already see the seeds of tyranny forming while right-wing authoritarians (RWAs) happily skip through the daisies, convinced they are on the side of God. In the short-term, authoritarian leaders need these followers to attain power as they are a vital stage in the potential for a Pathocracy to take over normal development of civilisations. These individuals are the crucial enablers without which many psychopathic leaders would not be able to reach the dizzy heights of power they so desperately covet.

Ideas of democracy are extremely plastic in the authoritarian follower’s mind, so that that they can be stretched out of all recognition if need be. As long as their beliefs and ideas are confirmed through Mummy and Daddy RWAs then all is well. Consequently, when folks with basic modes of critical thinking become alarmed by American citizens being assassinated without trial; unlawful wire-tapping; mass surveillance and embracing torture, authoritarian followers will continue munching their grass without batting an eye-lid. When the fourth and fifth amendments; the Bill of Rights; as well as habeas corpus, one of the oldest rights in Western law are routinely ignored; when an array of black operations, dirty tricks and Congressional corruption that would make any Catholic banker blush are routinely taking place, RWA followers would continue grazing, a few would twitch their tails, but overall, they’d remain unmoved.

From this data and more, Altemeyer confirms his own thoughts that the US is currently being ravaged by “… a militant authoritarianism that has become a cancer upon the nation.” The present day Empire of US-UK-Israeli interests can be understood as another way to describe ponerological dynamics in more simplistic but useful terms.

If RWAs are the proto-typical sheep, what happened to their thinking processes? Illogical thinking dominates and this is never good for getting on in life. It is dangerous because “… it shows that if authoritarian followers like the conclusion, the logic involved is pretty irrelevant.”

Altemeyer discovered further:

“The reasoning should justify the conclusion, but for a lot of high RWAs, the conclusion validates the reasoning. Such is the basis of many a prejudice, and many a Big Lie that comes to be accepted. Now one can easily overstate this finding. A lot of people have trouble with syllogistic reasoning, and high RWAs are only slightly more likely to make such mistakes than low RWAs are. But in general high RWAs seem to have more trouble than most people do realizing that a conclusion is false.” [3]

According Altemeyer’s extensive data, RWAs also scored highly on the practicing of double standards, hypocrisy, lying to themselves and running away from unpleasant truths about their carefully crafted self-image. Their self-awareness is residual which logically reflects their awareness of others and adds to the understanding about geo-political policy today, not least certain education curricula.

The other important trait that came up again and again was a “profound ethnocentrism” best personified with George W. Bush’s chilling statement: “If you’re not with us you’re with the terrorists.” It’s about the in-crowd and belonging; adhering to illusions of specialness and ideas of being the “chosen Ones,” which is why Zio-Conservatism makes such classic authoritarian belief partners. This is like a security system which prevents critical thinking and self-knowledge bringing together those that think alike, thus maintaining the illusion that not only does the world operate exclusively within such a reality it is the mission to extend that shared belief so that more and more people are contained within it.

Loyalty is a cardinal principle and the beliefs are fundamentally based on fear, lies and subjective interpretation so that the integrity of the belief structure is inherently weak long-term. Hence, more and more authoritarian methods are needed to prop it up in the face of encroaching objective evidence. But the unrivalled dogmatism will ensure that they and the group to which they are attached are always right. To question themselves is never an interesting or even necessary proposition. This loyalty and wilful blindess leads to gullibility and monumental gaps in the awareness of RWAs which means that once authoritarian followers are sufficiently mobilised they would find it easy to embrace a dictator.

RWAs are aggressive and bully their beliefs to the top. Very useful for psychopaths who want to outsource their nature and seed it in others for particular designs. The aggression is not the kind that looks for a fair fight but the kind that personifies “Might is Right” behind a big gun or a water cannon and a raft of riot police you can command and employ. As long as the RWA follower can get away with it and avoid responsibility for his actions then all is well. It is cowardly aggression behind closed doors and from the flick of fountain pen or keyboard stroke where tracks can be covered if necessary by shifting the blame to an unsuspecting minion. This bolsters his sense of superiority while pleasing daddy psychopath who will drop all kinds of tailored favours from above.

Conventionalism (often read as dull) is another defining characteristic of RWAs which means they lack the facility for imagination and abstract thought. To put it kindly, their feet are very much on the ground pointing in the direction of the known and familiar, shoe-shined and ready for inspection. But it doesn’t stop there. As a high percentage of RWAs are religious and fundamentalist this means that their beliefs do not just determine their life direction and perception of morals but the desire that those beliefs should be foisted on others, as a matter of course. When you have around 46 per cent of American adults believing that the earth is 10,000 years old thanks to Creationist views then this is enough to cause alarm concerning the sheer stupidity alone. Mixed in with authoritarianism – it’s a recipe for a horror flick. .” [4]

For RWAs, the fabric of their reality would be rent asunder of you not only had the temerity to question their beliefs but backed it up with deductive logic and concrete facts. In the authoritarian mind, that cannot be allowed to happen as behind the edifice and hot air there is a very fragile ego and if threatened by objective reality then all hell is let loose. Therefore, the “I am right you are wrong” mentality dominates even if the facts are as obvious as “the Earth is not flat,” the RWAs will insist that it is. And while such buffering can be understood in the kindergarten or playground in high level politics it becomes more than terrifying when applied to Middle Eastern politics. As Altemeyer mentions: “If their authorities endorse hostility, you can bet most authoritarian followers will be combative. A lot of high RWAs apparently do not think that the peacemakers will be blessed.”

And the results we can see before us.

Extend this principle into law and justice and Altemeyer found that while strongly endorsing capital punishment they would send anyone to jail regardless of race, sexuality or gender. Differences in degree such as rape as oppose to jay-walking – all received much longer sentences from high RWAs while going easy on the authorities if accused of any corruption, undue force, infringement of human rights etc. The benefits of capital punishment in the RWAs mind equate with the almost British Victorian ideas of family values where some fathers were expected to teach their sons the value of discipline and order by giving them a good leathering with the cane or belt and a good slap for the women should they step out of their designated role. That’ll knock some sense into them! Never did me any harm when my parents use to kick me down the stairs every morning before breakfast … Along those lines …

Pink Floyd - The Wall

As RWAs are commonly religious, as they see it: placing the fear of God into criminals whom they consider to be way down the ladder of purity is the obvious choice. Since they believe they are currently poised, angel-like, on the highest rungs of the evolutionary ladder it is their duty to self-righteously view the hoi-polloi of ordinary people and manage their destiny for them. And if you don’t do as you’re told…Authoritarian followers have a nasty retributive streak that delights in the misery of those who have received their – as they see it – divinely administered comeuppance. Those that stray off the track of righteous get all they deserve. Compassion is a footnote in the high RWAs psyche (if it exists at all) and is habitually overridden by deep-seated anger and resentment which also means that if an outlet for that inner angst presents itself – they’ll take it. If persecution and torture for the Homeland is decreed normal – no problem. Rigging up electrodes on little grey-haired Auntie May who is thought to be harbouring Al-Qaeda agents under her “welcome” mat – I’m your man! Sign on the dotted line – no questions asked? Just how the RWAs like it. And Daddy dictator will love me. The authoritarian personality is Freud’s dream come true.

When the Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld Reich decided to do just that and torture largely innocent Iraqis and those incarcerated in Guantánamo Bay under Obama’s “hope and change” rhetoric, many authoritarian personalities both in the UK and the US were clapping delightedly. When anger and chosen ignorance are present then substantial quantities of innate fear will be flowing through the RWA personality perceiving more of a threat in a situation of potential conflict than there may be in reality. This is what happened in 1987 when Bob Altemeyer and his colleague Gerry Sande had five-man teams of male introductory psychology students role-play NATO in an “international simulation” involving (they thought) another team of students playing as the Warsaw Pact.

Here’s what happened:

Some of the NATO teams were composed entirely of low RWA students, and other NATO teams were stocked entirely with highs. (We experimenters secretly played the Warsaw Pact.) The simulation began with a couple of ambiguous moves by the Warsaw Pact, such as holding military exercises earlier than anticipated, and withdrawing divisions to rear areas (possibly for rest, or –as Dr. Strangelove might argue–possibly for redeployment for an attack).

The NATO teams could respond with nonthreatening or threatening moves of varying magnitudes. But if they made threats, the Warsaw pact responded with twice as much threat in return, and the NATO team would reap what it had sown as an escalation of aggressive moves would likely result.

The low RWA teams did not interpret the ambiguous moves at the beginning of the game as serious threats and thus seldom made threatening moves. The high RWAs on the other hand usually reacted to the opening Warsaw Pact moves aggressively, and sowed a whirlwind. Over the course of the simulation, the high RWA teams made ten times as much threat as the low teams did, and usually brought the world to the brink of nuclear war...” [5] [Emphasis mine]

Furthermore, in other scenarios the overwhelming comeback from RWAs was the philosophy of “Care about Your Own; We Are NOT All in This Together.” As a result, Global Change Games that simulated geo-political challenges dominated by authoritarians typically ended in world-wide disasters.

So, what are the roots of authoritarianism in the context Altemeyer’s findings?

He prefers “Bandura’s Social Learning Theory of Aggression” which is admittedly a large step up from Freud but fails to explain the whole picture, ponerology being the missing element. However, Albert Bandura of Stanford University and the SLTA theory posits the idea that there must be a burning anger present and a sub-strata of fear. For that anger to be released certain inhibitions and restraints must be overcome so that a volcanic eruption can flow. These stages are termed “The instigator” – the individual and his brand of fear and anger waiting to be tapped and “The Releaser” –the mode that allows it all to happen; a designated “holier than thou” moral cause that would release their hostility on the world while lying to themselves concerning the reasons for the perceived moral justification.

From a ponerological perspective this anger and fear is carefully directed along pre-designed psychic and material channels facilitating maximum efficiency for psychopaths’ goals. In other words, instinct and emotion is used exclusively to further an increase and maximisation of an already present pathology.

Why did it stay wired at the child stage of authority pleasing?

Although Altemeyer leans towards experience and environmental factors he also highlights the fact that studies have confirmed a genetic component. Usually, as with most things in life, it is probably a mix of both.

Further research offering a more general confirmation of the above findings was offered on September 8th 2013, when online culture magazine grist.com ran an article by Chris Mooney entitled: ‘Science confirms: Politics wrecks your ability to do math.’ A study undertaken by Professor Dan Kahan of Yale University found that people’s ability to correctly solve a mathematics question was intimately connected to political persuasion. In summary, erroneous data was given to groups about skin cream efficacy and were also given difficult maths problem to solve. Here, the results were good. When exactly the same data was given alongside a topic of gun control, the answers changed dramatically indicating that the political beliefs were influencing their mathematics solutions to an extreme degree.

In a nutshell: respondents’ political belief distorted the ability to give correct answers if it wasn’t to their liking with the result that objective reality was discarded in favour of their chosen political preference.

This indicates that those of a more intuitive nature aren’t the only ones prone to be led by more subjective notions of reality. Even numerate people have massive blind-spots when it comes to taking on board views which run counter to their own. Whether left-leaning or conservative, persons with a logical/mathematical intelligence will subconsciously subvert the process from which the correct result can be achieved, attempting to fit the round peg of a solution into the square hole of their beliefs. This goes some way in explaining why it is that you can present evidence as plain as day that left-right politics is a charade and the political system is irrevocably broken – belief and comfort zone will trump all, even for seemingly intelligent people. It gives a reason why all manner of rational and IQ-busting academics choose not to make the leap to the obvious when presented with a mountain of facts and empirical data. No amount of reasoning will do it without some form of external shock. Even then it may make no difference for some.

This has enormous implications regarding the evidence of Official Culture and rogue elements in governments and intelligence actively working against their populations. Recognition of such a reality sets up a cognitive dissonance that is both painful as well as befuddling, symptoms commonly exhibited by authoritarian followers.

N.B. let’s not forget that authoritarianism rises in the left wing camp just as much as the right. From the election of Donald Trump we have a shocking wave of left-liberal authoritarianism in the guise of “Social Justice Warriors” snowflake millennial, radical feminism and the Neo-Marxist  invasion of Universities.

[1] Project for the New American Century (PNAC) at http://www.newamericancentury.org was an American think tank based in Washington, D.C. that lasted from 1997 to 2006. It was co-founded as a non-profit educational organization by William Kristol and Robert Kagan. Members included right wing, neo-conservative politicians and intellectuals. The series of documents that comprise the ideological vision of neo-conservatism is wholly concerned with establishing a global American Empire with access to the resources of other countries and the implementation of pre-emptive war partnered with the necessary “evil” of perpetual war. The famous of these is “‘Rebuilding America’s Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century’ written by Richard B. Cheney. The PNAC is literally an “organization whose goal is to promote American global leadership” or as a continuation of the ancient phrase which George Bush Sr. noted in 1992 speech: A New World Order.” Needless, to say this New World Order is based around occult principles of establishing  “Order out of Chaos” which neo-conservatists happily seek to carry out regardless of their awareness on this point. | PNAC’s second incarnation goes by the name of The Foreign Policy Initiative which holds to exactly the same ideology.

The Psychopath: A Different Species? IV

“The ultimate cause of evil lies in the interaction of two human factors: 1) normal human ignorance and weakness and 2) the existence and action of a statistically small (4-8% of the general population) but extremely active group of psychologically deviant individuals. The ignorance of the existence of such psychological differences is the first criterion of ponerogenesis. That is, such ignorance creates an opening whereby such individuals can act undetected.”

– ponerology.com

To reiterate: the main qualities that distinguish the psychopath from normal persons include the absence of a sense of guilt for antisocial actions; an inability to love authentically; a tendency to be verbose and talkative in a way that is inevitably subjective and self-referencing. Manipulative, insincere, confident, egocentric, cynical, quick to anger, dominating, sensation-seeking, vindictive, and aggressive and above all, wholly lacking any indications of empathy or fear. These are some of the common and wide ranging personality characteristics which conform to the conscienceless individual. Their sole preoccupation is to deceive with the accompanying charisma and magnetic charm that disable all but those who are not armed and ready with the requisite knowledge.

Yet, Those of conscience routinely underestimate the primal depths to which psychopathic individuals may plum.

Łobaczewski states:

… our social, psychological, and moral concepts, as well as our natural forms of reaction, are not adequate for every situation with which life confronts us. We generally wind up hurting someone if we act according to our natural concepts and reactive archetypes in situations which seem to be appropriate to our imaginings, although they are in fact essentially different.  As a rule, such different situations allowing para-appropriate reactions occur because some pathological factor difficult to understand has entered the picture. Thus, the practical value of our natural world view generally ends where psychopathology begins.

Familiarity with this common weakness of human nature and the normal person’s “naïveté” is part of the specific knowledge we find in many psychopathic individuals, as well some characteropaths. [1] [Emphasis mine]

The complexity of ponerology is deep, with variation upon variation creating rich hybrids of pathology that science has yet to just fully recognize, not least to counter. Their expert manipulations and “masks of sanity” are always one step ahead, whether at the heart of the family or the higher echelons of shadow executive governments. What is also problematic are the effects resulting from exposure to a psychopath or psychopathic grouping. “If someone has personally experienced such a nightmarish reality,” says Dr. Łobaczewski, “he considers people who have not progressed in understanding it within the same time frame to be simply presumptuous, sometimes even malicious.” “This experience,” he continues, “[is] unceremoniously rejected by … [people and] becomes a psychological burden for him, forcing him to live within a narrow circle of persons whose experiences have been similar.” When one has interacted with a psychopath and been lucky enough to escape it usually means you are changed for life. [2]

Once again, it bears repeating: the raw truth regarding psychopaths and their unqualified success stems from their absence of conscience. Their total inability to understand and experience empathy and higher emotional feeling, rather than an impediment, fuels their innate desire to consume, extract and deceive. The depths to which essential psychopaths will go to achieve this end is another reason why they can be so successful in corporations and the police or military where high levels of endurance and authoritarianism are required. It also explains why the results of their actions have such catastrophic effects: they will never give up on their selected objective … unless they meet another psychopath with a bigger pedigree.

If we understand that no treatment has ever been effective in curing the psychopath we may then begin to comprehend the pathological results of our society as listed above.

Quoting Łobaczewski :

Approximately 6 percent of the population constitute the active structure of the Pathocracy, which carries its own peculiar consciousness of its own goals. Twice as many people constitute a second group: those who have managed to warp their personalities to meet the demands of the new reality ….

This second group consists of individuals who are, on the average, weaker, more sickly, and less vital. The frequency of known mental diseases in this group is at twice the rate of the national average. We can thus assume that the genesis of their submissive attitude toward the regime, their greater susceptibility to pathological effects, and their skittish opportunism includes various relatively impalpable anomalies.…

The 6 percent group constitute the new nobility; the 12 percent group forms the new bourgeoisie, whose economic situation is the most advantageous. …Only 18 percent of the country’s population is thus in favor of the new system of government. [3]

Think again about the prevalence of schizoidal propaganda and how easily people project their own values and beliefs onto pathological material. Without sufficient discernment we can be bamboozled into believing the most outrageous lies. The average number of character disordered individuals may be as high as 20 percent of the population. That means that 80-90 percent of the population has the potential to awaken to the reality of macro-social manipulation. Factoring in recent discoveries of Severe Attachment Disorder, [4] autism and Asperger’s Syndrome which may also have in some cases psychopathic symptoms, the overall figure of psychological deviants may be higher. We may also add a quota of the global population who have had their innate creativity and emotional sensibilities eroded from mass education and post-modern culture of apathy and nihilism along with the speculative umbrella of HAARP and ionospheric experiments of mass mind control. From an equally bizarre contribution and unexpected source we can further include the incidence of potential psychopathy or related subset through the condition of toxoplasmosis. This involves the presence of brain parasites altering the personalities of up to half the world’s population, thus making them more susceptible to manipulation and control. This includes the inclusion of data on suicides, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. [5]

Many factors are undoubtedly at play.  That being so, any in-depth research on their effects are likely to bump up the percentage of pathologically compromised individuals to levels which exceed present estimates.

It is clear there is still much to learn regarding the true percentage of pathological deviations. It is also no coincidence that under any oppressive regime or form of covert/overt control “psychology is the first discipline to suffer from censorship and incursions on the part of an administrative body which starts claiming the last word as to what represents scientific truth.” [6] We saw this process only too well in downtown America where the Bush-Cheney administration was busy reordering and eliminating scientific thought that did not align with its own principles. This perception remains in place under Barack Obama and in some cases even expanded. Psychiatry with its history as a political tool against dissident oppression and its links to Big Pharma may be an exception to this rule. If it can be used as a way to give medical justification for imprisoning “terrorists” i.e. ordinary activists and citizens who disagree with the government – then it may form a crucial part of front line pathocratic rule.

The herd instinct is strong within humanity and is perhaps one of the most useful ways in which the Pathocracy and its cohorts shape the world towards its own ends. By subverting the networking principle of group consciousness to obliterate independent and creative thought, it becomes easy to erode the positive intuitions and instincts which could contain and isolate evil. Indeed, our lack of knowledge about its presence in politics means we work for it and sustain it, rather than calling it out. As Łobaczewski states: “Our zeal to control anyone harmful to ourselves or our group is so primal in its near-reflex necessity as to leave no doubt that it is also encoded at the instinctual level. Our instinct, however, does not differentiate between behavior motivated by simple human failure and behavior performed by individuals with pathological aberrations.” [7]

As we saw in our snapshots of Official Culture there are presently few opportunities for populations to cultivate the necessary discernment both in the psychological appreciation of their fellow man, the requisite internal observations and crucial environmental indicators. For instance, our ability to achieve silence and contemplation is negligible in the urban world. Our minds are seldom afforded the chance to step off the treadmill of sense-fixated production. Economic hardship is a result of an accumulation of wealth by the psychopathic few, or as cultural political scientist Michael Parenti explained:

We are told that wife-beating, child abuse, alcoholism, drug abuse, and other such pathologies know no class boundaries and are found at all income levels. This is true but misleading. The impression left is that these pathologies are randomly distributed across the social spectrum and are purely a matter of individual pathology. Actually, many of them are skewed heavily toward the low-income, the unemployed, and the dispossessed. As economic conditions worsen, so afflictions increase. Behind many of these statistics is the story of class, racial, sexual, and age oppressions that have long been among the legacies of our social order, oppressions that are seldom discussed in any depth by political leaders, news media, or educators. [8]

Our psychological survival and ability to live meaningful lives depends on our capacity to see these psychological differences in our local, daily life and adopt creative solutions to counter them. Yet, our culture is structured in a way that prevents any focus and attention toward the problems even while so many intuitively recognise and understand that: “in each society on earth contains a certain percentage of individuals, a relatively small but active minority, who cannot be considered normal.” The actions of this minority leave a disastrous psychic footprint upon the world. Our innate ability to retain subjectivity and to cling to comfortable reasons to deny this reality is reinforced by the very same ‘humanoids’.

Psychological ignorance is perhaps the greatest deficit within the field of human awareness, the knowledge of which remains the greatest threat to the minority of psychopaths’ intent on holding onto power. And like a rabbit in the headlights, we are habitually disabled when trying to operate on simplistic assumptions that all of us operate on similar humanistic principles, or as Łobaczewski mentions: when “… some unidentified psychopathological factor comes into play, the natural human world view ceases to be applicable.” [9] In other words, when human values are projected onto narcissists and psychopaths as a result of a standard barometer of a moral and ethical worldview, this is guaranteed to offer faulty judgments and reinforces the predator’s security. The original ideology or manifested group, business, or initiative – whatever it may be – can be imbued with the highest intentions though harbouring the pathogenic infection of its demise.

In Official Culture various domains such as agriculture, art, business and science had within them the initial seed of inclusive desire and group cooperation. Similarly, the peoples behind such ideas and those still adhering to the original principles may not be aware that the institution, government or agency has long been ponerised. After all, as  Łobaczewski observes: “The greater and truer the original ideology, the longer it may be capable of nourishing and disguising from human criticism that phenomenon which is the product of the specific degenerative process. In a great and valuable ideology, the danger for small minds is hidden; they can become the factors of such preliminary degeneration, which opens the door to invasion by pathological factors.” [10]

It is probable that the Pathocrats (those members of a Pathocracy in key positions of power) believe they must maintain their control on the populace by either keeping us all in survival mode, embroiled in wars or drowning in sensation in order to ensure their genetic traits are perpetuated. To continue and extend their species they must incorporate fail-safe plans that reduce the populations of normal people and the ability of the affluent middle classes to sharpen their awareness and think “outside of the box”. Nonetheless, being a minority and therefore vulnerable, the Pathocrats’ dominance will inevitably weaken as normal people strive and obtain a more balanced playing field. For the psychopaths in all walks of life this would be a catastrophe. For those at the top of the military-corporate complex this is the worst case scenario because: “… the biological, psychological, moral, and economic destruction of the majority of normal people becomes, for the Pathocrats, a ‘biological’ necessity.” [11] This may give us some idea as to the source of eugenics and depopulation theories which have made an unwelcome resurgence of late. [12]

The massive PR machine is now tasked with keeping us locked into a media-led “social proof” and societal programming that keeps crime and abuse from being discovered. It has grown into an impenetrable barrier of fear where the herd instinct for self-preservation wins over any moral or humanitarian imperative.

As psychologist Professor Robert B. Cialdini points out:

To discover why canned laughter is so effective, we first need to understand the nature of yet another potent weapon of influence: the principle of social proof. This principle states that we determine what is correct by finding out what other people think is correct.

The principle applies especially to the way we decide what constitutes correct behavior. We view a behavior as correct in a given situation to the degree that we see others performing it.

Whether the question is what to do with an empty popcorn box in a movie theater, how fast to drive on a certain stretch of highway, or how to eat the chicken at a dinner party, the actions of those around us will be important guides in defining the answer.

The tendency to see an action as appropriate when others are doing it works quite well normally. As a rule, we will make fewer mistakes by acting in accord with social evidence than by acting contrary to it. Usually, when a lot of people are doing something, it is the right thing to do. This feature of the principle of social proof is simultaneously its major strength and its major weakness. Like the other weapons of influence, it provides a convenient shortcut for determining the way to behave but, at the same time, makes one who uses the shortcut vulnerable to the attacks of profiteers who lie in wait along its path. [13]

The Pathocrats profit from this self-organised instinct and the carefully selected path they have set before us as the only way – their way. A win-win situation develops as we become inured to the widening distances between what is and what is assumed. This social proof is applied to all areas of academic and media discussions and is a mighty barrier against obtaining true knowledge on the issues of social engineering and control. In the same way, while we decry the erosion of freedoms and the cloak of censorship, we are all self-censoring for the State. “Egotistic thought-terrorization is accomplished by the society itself and its processes of conversive thinking. This obviates the need for censorship of the press, theater, or broadcasting, as a pathologically hypersensitive censor lives within the citizens themselves.” [14]

Did you get the implications of that?  Are we able to see this viral influence in ourselves?

And what of a whole society?

Psychologist Anna Salter’s research into criminal psychopathy is also instructive regarding the stages of deception. Using interviews with psychopaths in US prisons she was able to illustrate why so many of the staff had been seduced by these individuals, not necessarily sexually, but where some form of compromise took place through sometimes highly subtle manipulations. She gives the psychopath’s formula for sniffing out their prey that can not only be applied inside the prison walls, but in the world at large:

Selecting a Targetkey factor: Vulnerability. Weaknesses are ruthlessly exploited via information gathering that appears to be just polite and friendly conversation. In reality, it is the stalking process.

The Law of Reciprocity – key factor: A reliance on a reciprocal response to ostensibly innocent requests, where the psychopath has already obliged the person to respond in kind. Cultural norms tailored to conscience are perfect for the psychopath’s armoury of manipulation.

The Demand and the Leverkey factor: Bonding and the Establishment of a “personal relationship” where the victim feels in control. Many Secrets are known about the victim and thus the psychopath has all the aces. Then the demand, which can be something seemingly minor in nature. But in one inmate’s words: “He’s crossed the boundary right there.” Once the request has been met the demands escalate until dominance is achieved.

Apply this to the home, school, or the family and it may be easier to see why pathologically compromised individuals are so slippery to prosecute, not least to identify.  What is even more disturbing is they can be superficially so likeable. That is, until they have extracted what it is they want from you, and like any arch-vampire, they leave you a shell of your former self – child or adult.

It is through widening our field of awareness that we can give hope to the children that are abused and sacrificed on the altar of psychopathy that continues to be built in our name. We must liberate our psychological awareness to free ourselves from a prison that has been forcibly erected deep inside our psyche. As Dr. Anna Salter stated so plainly: “why does it take thirty years of research for the rest of us to understand phenomena that inmates [psychopaths] grasp intuitively? It seems clear who the real experts are.” [15]

[8] Michael Parenti goes on to illustrate the full magnitude of this American Ponerogenic “infection”: “Conservatives are fond of telling us what a wonderful, happy, prosperous nation this is. The only thing that matches their love of country is the remarkable indifference they show toward the people who live in it. To their ears the anguished cries of the dispossessed sound like the peevish whines of malcontents. They denounce as “bleeding hearts” those of us who criticize existing conditions, who show some concern for our fellow citizens. But the dirty truth is that there exists a startling amount of hardship, abuse, affliction, illness, violence, and pathology in this country. The figures reveal a casualty list that runs into many millions.”

[12] With a convenient mix of Malthusian and Darwinian Theory laced with a touch of eugenics, they have produced a perfect tool for the Pathocracy to decrease the numbers of the global population. While most of the problems of the world have been created by psychopaths in order to service their own needs they now intend to effectively “take out the rubbish” in order to survive. They intend to exploit the earth and what is left of normal well into their own grandiose eternity. For further reading see: The Inherent Rascism of Population Control by Paul Jalsevac (2004).
[13] “The psychologists speculated that, for at least two reasons, a bystander to an emergency will be unlikely to help when there are a number of other bystanders present. The first reason is fairly straightforward. With several potential helpers around, the personal responsibility of each individual is reduced: ‘Perhaps someone else will give or call for aid, perhaps someone else already has.’ So with everyone thinking that someone else will help or has helped, no one does. The second reason is the more psychologically intriguing one; it is founded on the principle of social proof and involves the pluralistic ignorance effect Very often an emergency is not obviously an emergency. Is the man lying in the alley a heart-attack victim or a drunk sleeping one off? Is the commotion next door an assault requiring the police or an especially loud marital spat where intervention would be inappropriate and unwelcome? What is going on? In times of such uncertainty, the natural tendency is to look around at the actions of others for clues. We can learn from the way the other witnesses are reacting whether the event is or is not an emergency.” Quoted from Influence: Science and Practice by Robert B. Cialdini, Published by Longman, 2004.
